Tawanna A. Lofton is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer for TBey & Associates HR Consulting & Staffing Inc., with nearly thirty years of experience in Human Resource Management, Business Diversity, and Non-Profit organizations. Mrs. Lofton began her career in the early eighties with always one goal in mind "helping other people" and that is exactly what she did. In 1992, Mrs. Lofton was asked to relocate from New Jersey to Dallas, Texas with MCI Telecommunication Provisioning Engineering Team training and developing the entire Private Line Provisioning team of fifty engineers. She was later asked by the board of directors of the ICOC to travel all over the country as an inspirational/motivational speaker and instructor of women in ecclesiastical studies for the International Churches of Christ; a Non-Profit religious organization. As an ordained Minister and Executive Director of Women’s Ministries in the International Churches of Christ, Mrs. Lofton led thousands of women in every area of ministry, professional and non-profit work throughout the United States. TBey & Associates HR Consulting & Staffing Inc. was founded by Mrs. Lofton in 2006 to fulfill the dream and passion of entrepreneurship, consulting and recruitment; forging strong relationships; focusing on identifying candidates and clients’ needs, assisting them in developing and implementing solutions tailored to their specific organizations. Described by many as "a driven and tenacious leader", Mrs. Lofton is a graduate of Turner School of Construction and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources and a Masters Degree in Business Management from Radford University. Additionally, Mrs. Lofton is a certified M/WBE/DBE member of the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, D/FW Minority Business Enterprise and the State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business Certification and Compliance Program, the American Staffing Association, Society for Human Resource Management, numerous chambers/advocacy groups and has earned numerous professional, business, and community awards over the past two decades. Mrs. Lofton is making a difference with the start up of her recent non-profit TBey & Associates Next S.T.O.P. (Success, Talent, Opportunity, Partnership and Supporting Texas Offender Projects) which is a community employment training resource center; while training small business owners, and becoming the leading consulting and staffing organization in each of our strategically chosen markets while "opening doors of opportunity" for candidates and clients nationwide.Mrs. Lofton is married to CEO business owner Cecil Lofton of Lofton Electronics. Together they have four sons Michael, Cecil, Barry and William
